As many as 40 passengers were injured after a bus rammed into a parked lorry on National Highway 43 in Telangana’s Nizamabad district.

By Apoorva Jayachandran : As many as 40 passengers were injured after a bus rammed into a lorry that accidentally stopped on National Highway 43 in Telangana’s Nizamabad district. The accident happened on the outskirts of Perkit village in Armoor town.
A private bus, Rajdhani Travels, was en route Hyderabad from Nagpur when the accident took place on the highway.
Reportedly, 40 passengers traveling on the bus were injured, out of which 15 sustained serious injuries.
According to eyewitness, the accident happened due to negligence on the part of the driver who was drowsy and hit a parked lorry. The injured have been shifted to Nizamabad Government Hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
