Uttarakhand PCS Pre Exam
The Chief Secretary issued necessary instructions regarding PCS Pre Exam. It was said that all the District Magistrates will take the meeting of center observers.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has issued strict guidelines regarding the PCS pre-examination of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission to be held on July 14. He has said that sensitive examination centers should be identified and monitored separately.
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has given instructions to all the District Magistrates and Senior Superintendents of Police of the state regarding the successful and fair conduct of the proposed Uttarakhand Combined State Civil Select Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination 2024 on July 14. He has given instructions that the briefing of all the officers posted in the examination and center supervisors of all the examination centers of the district should be done under the chairmanship of DM, SSP two days before the examination. All center administrators must compulsorily participate in this.
Instructions should be issued to the center supervisors and administrators to strictly follow the desired measures to ensure the purity and transparency of the examination. All the room inspectors, flying squads, and other deployed personnel should work with full devotion. Information about all the arrangements related to the examination should be disseminated in the districts through various mediums.
By classifying all the examination centers on the basis of sensitivity, Sector Magistrate, Flying Squad, Additional Police Force, and LIU should be deployed on the examination date. Separate dedicated sector magistrates will monitor remote and sensitive centers.

The concerned sector magistrates will collect and submit the question papers and examination material separately for each shift at the centers. The local LIU and agencies should remain active even before the exam date. He has said that some sector magistrates are busy only bringing the confidential material to the examination center and taking it back to the post office.
Considering the need for extensive supervision at the examination centres, other officers of the district should also be deployed. Senior officers of the police and district administration will also visit and monitor the centres during the examination. In view of the rainy season, blocked routes should be opened promptly to keep traffic smooth.
