Tender issued to run cruise boat in Tehri Lake
Tehri Lake Cruise Boat Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj’s son also applied to operate cruise boats in the Tehri Dam reservoir. Now, as the issue has escalated, he started to clarify the situation. He said that if anyone has an objection to his son’s application, he will request him to withdraw the application.
State Bureau, Jagran, Dehradun. Tehri Lake Cruise Boat: Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that a total of 23 persons applied for operating cruise boats in Tehri Dam Reservoir. His son Suyyash Rawat is also among the six persons found eligible after the investigation.
Complete transparency was adopted in this application process, an attempt is being made to create unnecessary controversy over it. If anyone has any objection to his son’s application, he will request them to withdraw the application.

The Tourism Minister said that Tehri Special Area Tourism Development Authority had openly invited applications for cruise boat operations. Complete transparency was adopted in this. Those raising controversy in this regard should know that right now these are only applications.
No one got any approval to operate cruise boats. Some political persons tried to spread confusion by calling it a tender. No money of any kind was to be invested by the government in this process. The investor will do this work himself.
