Dr. D.C. Pasbola again became the state’s senior vice president unopposed
Dehradun: In the first provincial session of the National Old Pension Restoration United Front, the Provincial Executive was constituted today. Earlier in the provincial convention, Dharampur MLA Vinod Chamoli inaugurated the convention as the representative of Dr Dhan Singh Rawat cabinet minister. In his address, he said that I feel very well the importance of old pension. He assured all the employees that it is under consideration in the government and I will definitely talk to the Chief Minister on this issue. In his address, the MLA said that when old pension has been restored in some states, the same system should be implemented in the whole country. Giving the example of his family, he clarified the importance of old pension. In the convention, representatives of different states from all over the country called upon everyone to fight for the restoration of old pension. Jammu and Kashmir State Vice President Mahila Smt. Maimoona Khan said that one day or the other employees all over the nation will get old pension. Dr. Pankaj Prajapati State President, Gujarat inspired the employees to struggle for the old pension. Along with this, members of the National Executive and Shri Gurmukh Singh from Punjab, Guljber Deng, State President of Jammu and Kashmir, Rakesh Kand Kandaria, Advisor to the National Executive from Gujarat, Jagdish Yadav from Madhya Pradesh, Suresh Dangi and National General Secretary Virendra Dubey also expressed their views. General Secretary Birender Dubey said that old pension has been restored in Chhattisgarh. He comes from Chhattisgarh state, So he assured that though where old pension has been restored but he will continue to fight till old pension is restored all over the country. National President BP Singh Rawat said that Uttarakhand is the state which has led many movements to the destination and I am proud that officers, employees and teachers of Uttarakhand are continuously taking forward this campaign under the banner of National Old Pension Restoration United Front. I not only hope but have full faith that soon the old pension will be restored in Uttarakhand like other states. Uttarakhand will be the first state by restoring old pension, which will set an example by implementing old pension by becoming a Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled state. State in-charge Vikram Singh Rawat called upon all NPS employees to contribute in this fight with full strength. Keeping the fact that if you do not wake up now, you will never wake up, he also thanked everyone for making this convention a success.
On this occasion a new executive committee of the state was formed. In which President Mukesh Prasad Bahuguna, General Secretary Sitaram Pokhriyal, State Senior Vice President Dr. D.C. Pasbola, Vice President (General) Rohit Joshi, Vice President (Female) Babita Rani, Organization Minister Mohan Singh Rathore, Treasurer Ranveer Singh Sindhwal were elected unopposed. On this occasion Jaideep Rawat was nominated as Garhwal Mandal President and Naresh Kumar Bhatt Mandal General Secretary and Yogesh Kumar Ghildiyal as President and Anil Joshi as General Secretary Kumaon. The program was conducted by Garhwal Mandal President Jaideep Rawat and Secretary Naresh Kumar Bhatt.
Apart from this, Murli Manohar Bhatt, Gurudev Rawat, Sarita Semwal, Circle Patron Jaspal Singh Rawat, Rashmi Gaur, Pradeep Sajwan, Shankar Bhatt, Ankit Rauthan, Puran Farswan, Makhan Lal, Dr. Naveen Saini, Lal Singh, Mansingh, Dr. Satish Saini, Dinesh District level officers like Lakheda etc. were also present.
Along with this, provincial and district level officials of other employees unions like Deepak Joshi, Surendra Singh Bacheti, Rakesh Sharma, Subhash Devliyal, Shiv Singh Negi, Ravinder Singh Rana, Santan Singh Rawat, Bhitendra Singh Chauhan, Kedar Farswan, Subhash Raturi etc. were also present.
