Jam on Mussoorie Road for hours

In view of the problem of traffic jam in the city, the police used Kimadi bypass from Cantt but this route was also completely packed.

When the return of tourists started on Sunday, there was a traffic jam from Dehradun to Mussoorie. The vehicles moved forward at a crawl throughout the day. In view of the problem of traffic jam in the city, the police used the Kimadi bypass from Cantt, but this route was also completely packed.
Tourists reach ISBT from Mussoorie within hours
It took more than an hour for tourists to reach ISBT and Rispana Bridge from Mussoorie. Actually, due to the G-20 meeting in Delhi, there was a holiday in many institutions, schools, and colleges in Delhi and surrounding areas, due to which people came to Mussoorie to enjoy the three-day holiday. Due to this, most of the hotels in Mussoorie were booked on September 8 itself, due to which traffic jams started.
In view of the traffic problem, the police deployed additional forces from Doon to Mussoorie. Due to jams at many places, local people also had to face the problem of traffic jam.
Force deployed in view of traffic problem
SP City Sarita Dobal said that in view of the traffic problem, additional forces were deployed, but the problem of traffic jam still persisted. In view of the jam, traffic was also diverted to the Kimadi bypass. The situation came under control to some extent in the evening.
