Director General of Health Dr. Vinita Shah gave this information in a press conference at the Directorate General of Health on Tuesday. He told that recently 14 reports of genome sequencing have been received. No new variant has been confirmed in these. These are all Omicron cases. That is, there is no case of BF.7 in the state right now. That’s why there is nothing to worry about.

He said that people should follow Covid friendly behavior. Fully prepared to deal with any situation. On the vigilance dose, he said that the Center has demanded a vaccine.
As the vaccine is being received, it is being sent to the districts. There are currently 33 active cases of corona in the state. Dehradun has the maximum number of active cases at 21. There is no active case of corona in seven districts of the state.
