Chardham Yatra 2023 News
Chardham Yatra 2023 Green cards and trip cards of commercial vehicle owners engaged in Chardham Yatra can now be made on mobile as well. For this, the Transport Department has prepared a mobile app. This kind of discrepancy was seen in the Chardham Yatra in the year 2022.
Vikas Gusain, Dehradun: Chardham Yatra 2023: There is relief news for commercial vehicle owners engaged in Chardham Yatra. Green cards and trip cards for the vehicles going for the Chardham Yatra starting in April will now be made on mobiles as well.
For this, the Transport Department has prepared a mobile app. Preparations are on to link this app with the website of the tourism department for registering for travel.
Anomaly was seen in the year 2022
The focus is on the fact that after registration there should be no difference between the date of darshan and the date of the trip card. This kind of discrepancy was seen in the Chardham Yatra in the year 2022.
In this app, along with Chardham, the option of Hemkund Sahib and one other religious place will also be included, so that if the date of darshan is not found in any Dham during the tour, one can go to other religious places.
Green cards are made for vehicles going on Chardham Yatra every year in the state. Green card means that the documents of the vehicles are correct and the vehicle is completely fit to operate on the travel route.
Since last year, along with Green Card, Trip Card is also being issued. This card is issued for 10 days. This helps in getting information about the location of the vehicle.
Online green cards and trip cards were arranged
Last year, the state government started the registration of passengers. This registration was done on the website of the tourism department. During registration, arrangements were made to give information to the pilgrims regarding the total number of their group and the proposed date of darshan in the Dham. Along with this, arrangements were made for online green cards and trip cards for the vehicles going on the yatra.
Initially, this system went well, but when the pilgrims started being controlled in Chardham, there was a problem in this system, which is being tried to be removed this year. In this episode, the Transport Department has created a mobile app. In this app, along with Chardham, the option of visiting Hemkund Sahib and one other place has been kept.
The app will be linked to the website of the Transport and Tourism Department
This app will be linked to the website of the Transport and Tourism Department so that there is no problem while using Green Card and Trip Card. Initial testing of this app has been done. Now a meeting is proposed with Secretary of Transport regarding this app and Chardham Yatra, where a final decision will be taken regarding the launch of this app along with naming it.
